New Domains Added!
New Domains Added!
To help spread the word and make the site more approachable to other Porsche owners who don't happen to own a 996, I picked up a couple of additional domains that will redirect to 996outpost.com:
p-caroutpost.com
pcaroutpost.com
At least initially, the home page will remain branded "996outpost.com," but eventually I'll pick a new top-level domain and start using prefixes to redirect users to the correct forums (996.pcaroutpost.com, boxster.pcaroutpost.com, etc.).

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

Look at you going all Bimmerpost on us and shit!
Not sure I like "pcaroutpost", but I don't really have a better suggestion

Re: New Domains Added!
I have no idea how any of this stuff works, but when researching how I could slip in this site's name even partially on other sites without being obvious, I came up empty when testing using search engines. As an example: I saw that a member on another 996 forum had linked a YouTube video in a post that had also been linked here previously. I tried to formulate a sentence for a post like "Hey! Cool video! I saw that posted at the Outpost, too!" Or, "on that new 996 site" or "new 996 forum." No matter which words/phrases I used, nothing "996Outpost" came up in a search, so I ended up not posting and squandering the opportunity for later use. The objective was to create curiosity about this site and entice the reader to do a search on their own and of course discover its existence.
So after making you guys suffer through all of the above, is there a way on your (5CHN3LL) end to trigger key words like "Outpost" or phrases like "new 996 forum" that would show up at the top of a Google, Startpage, etc., search? Because I know if I go in there (other forums) and start inserting this site's name in full, I'll get shut down after one or two shots across the bow.

Re: New Domains Added!
I linked the Rennkit discount code thread here into a post on another forum. No one seemed to care but I know a couple of people followed the link and ended up signing up here.Flat6BlahBlah wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 11:53 am I have no idea how any of this stuff works, but when researching how I could slip in this site's name even partially on other sites without being obvious, I came up empty when testing using search engines. Gotta a new word for the internet - "slobnobbers".
Can't compete with "pinksock", but it has potential.
